If you order a cloud hosting plan from us and if you use our mail services, you will be able to activate spam filters for any of the mailboxes that you set up from the Email Manager section of your Hepsia hosting Control Panel. With no more than a few mouse clicks, you can select between five separate levels of security. In case you start receiving spam, you can begin with the lowest one and then gradually boost the level until you stop getting spam. We use one of the best and most popular filters available on the market called SpamAssassin. It checks the header and the body of each email that you receive and determines a spam score, based on which it either erases a certain email or permits it to reach your inbox. The Hepsia hosting Control Panel will also allow you to activate custom filters and either get rid of undesirable emails or forward them to a 3rd-party address like spam@domain.com where you can view them once again later.
Spam Filters in Semi-dedicated Servers
If you get a semi-dedicated server package from our company and if you set up one or more mailboxes with any of the domains hosted in the account, you will be able to enable the powerful, 5-level SpamAssassin email filter that we offer and keep all unsolicited email messages out of your inbox. This option is accessible through the Email Manager section of the Hepsia Control Panel and it can be activated or deactivated for any email account whenever you wish. You can also fine-tune the security level with several clicks if unsolicited bulk emails still appear in your inbox or the email filter starts erasing legitimate emails. As you can select whether the spam should be deleted instantaneously or re-sent to another email address, you can create spam@domain.com, for instance, and view all filtered emails there, so as to make certain that you will not omit an email that you need. The emails that the email filter allows to go through will still be delivered to your inbox.
